Playing & Performance
The game is lagging. How do I fix it?
Most lag is caused by having too many browser tabs open or memory-heavy extensions running. Try closing other tabs, disabling your VPN (if active), or refreshing the page. Our systems usually fix this automatically, but a quick refresh never hurts!
Do I need to download anything?
Never. PicoCade is a 100% download-free platform. Every game is streamed directly to your browser as you play.
Can I play offline?
Not yet. Since we stream our game files from our global edge nodes to keep your local device storage clean, you'll need an active internet connection to start any game.
Accounts & Privacy
Why don't I need an account to save favorites?
We use 'Local Storage' technology. This saves your favorites and high scores directly on your phone or computer. It's more private and much faster!
Will you ever sell my email address?
Hard no. We don't even collect your email unless you contact us directly for support. Even then, we use it only to reply to you.
For Developers
How do I get my game on PicoCade?
We're always looking for quality HTML5 titles. Send us a message via the Contact page with a link to your game. If it passes our play-test for fun and polish, we'll feature it!
Do you pay developers?
Yes. We are building a revenue-share model for our verified brand partners. For now, we provide massive traffic and brand awareness to indie creators.
Economic & Misc
How does PicoCade make money?
We use subtle, non-intrusive display ads. We strictly avoid those annoying 'interstitial' ads that pop up in the middle of your game. Your gameplay is sacred.
Can I request a specific game?
We love requests! If there's a specific HTML5 title you want to see here, tell us. If we can get the rights from the developer, we'll add it.
